Invite friends, and fee promotions
Two things can change what the platform fee means for you: the people you invite, and promotions.
Invite friends
Your invite link is on the Invite friends page. When someone opens it and makes an account, they are linked to you for good. Their browser remembers the link for 30 days, so they do not have to sign up straight away.
From then on, each time one of their tasks is paid, whether they paid for it as an advertiser or did it as a tasker, you receive a share of the platform fee on that task: currently 20% of it. It goes into your available balance the moment the task is paid, for as long as they use Taskerise, and it never comes out of their money: it is part of the fee the platform already charges.
A few limits:
- The invite is recorded when the account is made, and cannot be added or changed later.
- You get at most one share per task, even if you invited both people on it.
- No share is paid while your own account is suspended, or when an advertiser pays a tasker they invited themselves.
The page shows who joined with your link and what each has earned you, one line per paid task, with its fee and your share, but not which task it was.
Fee promotions
From time to time we take a percentage off the platform fee.
- For new accounts, the offer is shown on the home page and the sign-up page. Sign up while it runs and it applies to the campaigns you create during it; when an offer says it lasts a number of days after you sign up, you keep it for those days even after it ends for everyone else.
- Lifetime offers are for new accounts too, and are marked as such. Sign up before the date on the banner and the discount applies to every campaign you create, for as long as you have your account, long after the offer stops taking sign-ups. Your dashboard shows it as yours for good.
- For existing accounts, a promotion that applies to you appears on your dashboard and in the campaign form, with how long it lasts.
Promotions never stack: if more than one applies, you get the biggest discount. The fee is fixed on each campaign when you launch it, so a promotion ending later never changes a campaign you have already started. What a campaign costs explains the fee itself.
Promo codes
A partner or creator may give you a promo code, usually in a link. Open the link and the code is filled in on the sign-up page, which shows what it gives before you make your account; it is applied the moment the account exists, whichever way you sign up. You can also type a code later, under Have a promo code? in the campaign form.
- Each account can use one code, ever.
- A code takes a percentage off the platform fee for a number of days from when you use it, or for good. Some codes are only for new accounts, made in the last few days.
- A code and a promotion never stack either: whichever takes more off the fee applies to each campaign.
