Taskerise

Your level and rating

Your level, your rating and a few plain numbers, such as tasks passed and disputes opened, make up your track record. It helps the people you work with judge who they are dealing with. What each side sees is different, because advertisers stay private.

Levels and ratings are a record, not a gate. No task is locked behind a level, and neither one changes what a task pays.

Who sees what

  • When you do tasks, the advertiser whose campaign you send work to sees your username, your profile photo, the social handle you used, and your track record: roughly how many of your tasks people have reviewed (1+, 10+, 50+ and so on), the share of them that passed to the nearest 5%, and whether you are a trusted tasker.
  • When you advertise, you stay private. Taskers never see your username, your profile, your email or your phone number. A task shows them only a rounded version of your record: your rating to the nearest 5% and roughly how many votes it rests on (1+, 10+, 50+ and so on) in the list, and how often you reject work, also to the nearest 5%, on the task page.
  • If you want to, you can give taskers a Name shown to taskers, which they see once they take one of your tasks, and turn on Show my photo on my tasks. Both are under Account → Profile, and both are off until you set them.
  • Your profile page, at taskerise.com/u/ followed by your username, shows your level, rating and numbers to anyone who opens it.

Level

You earn a point for every task that is approved, and points move you up through the levels. Your profile page shows how close you are to the next one. Only work you do as a tasker counts.

Rating

Once a task in a campaign has been reviewed, the advertiser and the tasker can each give the other a positive or negative vote, once per campaign. Your rating is the share of votes that were positive, shown with the number of votes behind it. A new account shows as unrated rather than zero, because new is not the same as bad.

Trusted taskers

Your track record counts only work a person looked at: tasks an advertiser or our team passed or rejected, a dispute you won included. Tasks passed by the clock or approved automatically do not count, because nobody checked them. A task you left before its guarantee period ended counts against you.

You become a trusted tasker once at least 20 of your tasks have been reviewed, at least 95% of them passed, and your account is at least 14 days old. Advertisers can choose to pay trusted taskers at once: on those campaigns your work passes as soon as you send it, and those tasks come first in your list. My tasks shows your record and what you still need. It is worked out afresh every time, so it can also be lost, and it is not available to an account that is suspended or under review by our team.

Advertisers are rated too

Taskers rate the advertisers they work for, and the task list can be sorted by advertiser rating. Because the record on a task is rounded, it tells you how fair an advertiser is without telling you who they are, and everything about the work happens on Taskerise.

When votes turn negative

Negative votes add up, and at 10 the account is suspended automatically. If you think the votes behind it were unfair, open a ticket. A suspended account can still do that, and a person will read it.
